Just found this site!Went to 'B' Flight North Coates straight from Halton in '77.Worked with Joe Mercer, Phil Nobbs, Kev Stone,Al Jones,latterly 'Alfie' Caine,in the 'Pack Bay'for a while, then as a Handler for a spell.3m at Aberporth in '79 too.

Served 17 JSTU (B.A.C Filton)then on to North Coates early 60s, I was demobed 1966 Snr/Tech Armourer.Would like to hear from any of the old squad.I have signed the guest book again as I have changed my contact details.

First posting 1980 - 85 was Armament & handling flight RAF West Raynham. Five years of moving missiles around and doing resupplys to Germany. Happy Days !!!

after mk1 Yatesbury training i joined 263 sqdn at watton then on to 15JSTU first at Newton for training then too Ferranti,BAe and on to Woomera for test firings a total 5yr stint.Some of the old missile parts pre/post firing are in Woomera museum

Hi, I was on 25 Sqn at Bruggen from 78 - 80, an armourer working as a handler alongside Sandy Sanderson. I was the one who got flattened by the BH dropped in the building bay and the only one to escape blame in the enquiry!!!! Regards

Served with 17.J.S.T.U. North Coates 1962 to 1966 (Sgt Armourer) having trained at BAC Filton Bristol.Any of the old gang out there anywhere!!!!

Newton as T86 instructor 78 - 82 (Pete Harry had a yellow Triumph Dolomite)
West Raynham in Task Control then 3rd/4th Line T86 Bay 82 - 86.

Did Radar Type 83 Stingray course at AEI factory (as was then, later Marconi Radar Systems) Leicester. Worked on T83 at Watton Griston site and Woolfox Lodge. Joined AEI and worked on Radar Type 87 Scorpion at New Parks Leicester.
